VHF Data Link - Mode 2 (VDL-M2)

VDL-M2 (Known as VDL2 or VDLM2) is a means of sending information between aircraft and ground stations. VDL Mode 2 is the only VDL mode being implemented operationally to support Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC). VDL-M2 uses D8PSK (Differentially Encoded 8-Phase Shift Keying) with 31.5 kbps speed at 25 kHz bandwidth and 10500 Bd

To receive VDL2 signals at frequencies: 136.975-136775 Mhz. I installed dumpVDL2 version 2.2.0 and use a RaspberryPi3, an RTLSDR V.3 dongle, PlanePlotter, Display-Lancher and a Diamond X50 dual band antenna.
