ATS25 max-Decoder
The ATS25 Max-decoder is a low cost portable HF receiver which has a large number of decoders built in such as RTTY, Hell, FT8 and FT4. The first tests have given excellent results in reception both in FT8 and also in RTTY. Now I use an MLA-30 plus indoor loop antenna, other tests will be in another location with a 10-15-20 meter rotary dipole and with a homemade wire antenna on 40 meters. Very useful USB-SERIAL output to connect a terminal and see the received packets on the ATS25 display.
Using two 18650 batteries contained inside the electronic device that heats the tobacco (IQOS first model), they were connected in parallel so I always have around 4 volts but a capacity of 5800 mAh. The nice thing about these extracted batteries is that they already have an overload protection circuit already installed in the electronic cigarette, therefore maximum charging safety. Everything went well, I'm curious to see when I will charge my ATS25 Max-Decoder.
For those who have a small one (the potentiometer ) and want to add a larger knob to the ATS25, I bought these "extensions" at a low price, the result is excellent. π
