An ultra-slim mini PC with Raspberry Pi3
Passionate about SDR reception and avid user of OpenwebRx+, I wanted to create a mini PC with a Raspberry Pi 3 (for now😊), a 5-inch LCD, a Bluetooth keyboard, and an RTLSDR V.3 dongle. First, I tried a 2A cell phone power bank; if I only ran commands from the terminal, I got up to an hour of battery life. To use the OpenwebRx SDR software (which most demodulators have), I used my motorcycle's starter, which has two USB outputs at about 3A. I built a 90° angled male-to-female USB adapter and added a counterweight under the keyboard to balance the mini PC.😀
